What's Life Without Achievement

What kind of achievement we are chasing?big houses?fancy car?I don't know,it wasn't really a big deal to me personally because I felt that limitation was in there as time goes by,and all those dream seem too far for me to archived and might not a true dream that i really looking for, i reach the level that i am not able to track some of the achievement stats that i am implementing.I get what i dreamed for but i am not truly happy..Do money and fame truly make one happy?

It's kind of like what happened when achievements first came out and you noticed you only had half of your times to do so many things,to really enjoy things,you lost the most important thing that you didn't aware while you are busy on your goal.And the time will never come back.

For years i have seem people have gone after fame and fortune and usually end up in the gutter drunk, committing suicide, going broke searching for that pot of gold, etc.The soul is like an energy with consciousness. It can neither be created nor destroyed,you had enjoy your life even without those achievement, it would much better if fail with respect and dignity than money and possessions, which you cannot take with you...Big house can't compete the love from family and friends..

Below poem from Ralph Waldo Emerson

To Have Succeeded

To laugh often and love much:
To win respect of intelligent people
And the affection of children;
To earn the approbation of honest critics
And endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty;
To find the best in others;
To give one's self;
To leave the world a little better,
Whether by a healthy child,
A garden patch,
Or redeemed social condition;
To have played and laughed with enthusiasm
And sung with exultation;
To know even one life has breathed easier
Because you have lived...
This is to have succeeded.
